Transportation through Prague

With one ticket, you can visit all locations where the World Stamp Exhibition PRAGA 2018 is held. You can travel quickly and conveniently using the urban public transport – yellow metro line, car or taxi.

From Clarion to the Postal Museum

Urban public transport connection and prices

Right next to the Clarion Hotel, take the metro at the Vysočanská Station, yellow line B, and take four stops to the Náměstí republiky Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. At the Náměstí republiky Station, get off the metro and walk for about 10 minutes along the Revoluční Street towards the Vltava River. The Postal Museum is located opposite the river on the right. You can travel with a 30-minute ticket costing 24 CZK (it can be bought in a ticket vending machine directly in the metro station or in any tobacconist’s shop).

Car connection

The journey by car from the Clarion Hotel or the Olympik Hotel takes about 20 minutes, depending on the level of traffic in the metropolis. Although there are paid public parking spaces – in the Lannova Street, in the Palladium Shopping Centre or the Kotva Department Store at the Náměstí republiky (Republic Square) – they tend to be occupied. Therefore, we do not really recommend travelling by car.

Taxi

You will pay about 250 CZK for a ride from the Clarion Hotel to the Postal Museum and about 210 CZK from the Olympik Hotel to the Postal Museum. Beware of cheating taxi drivers, we recommend that you check the price with the driver beforehand!
